Questions we get asked

Will they survive rain and a jet wash?

Yes. It is outdoor vinyl, made to take water, sun and UV, and it holds up to pressure washing. Keep the lance a sensible distance away and avoid firing straight at an edge for any length of time.

What size should I order?

Measure the panel first, then mark the outline on the car with masking tape and step back a few metres. If you are torn between two sizes, take the larger one: thin lines and small letters are easier to fit and easier to read.

Do I need anything else to fit it?

No. A rigid card or an old bank card is enough to smooth it down. Add a cloth and a roll of masking tape to line it up and you are done.

How do I take a sticker off later?

Warm it with gentle heat, a hairdryer is usually enough, then lift a corner and pull it back on itself slowly, keeping it close to the surface. On paint in good condition it comes away cleanly.

Is vinyl sheeting a ready made sticker?

No. It comes on a roll. You tell us the measurement you need when you order and we cut it before it is dispatched. There is a carbon fibre effect and a range of plain colours.

How long does delivery take and what does it cost?

5 to 7 working days to the UK and Ireland. Elsewhere in Europe, 3 to 10 working days depending on the country. Delivery is free on orders of 60 EUR or more.

Motorbike stickers: what to know before you order

A sticker on a bike has a harder life than one on a laptop: rain, road grime, sun and the jet wash at the end of a long ride. That is why these are cut from adhesive vinyl rather than printed on paper, in a workshop in Huesca, Spain, that has been doing it since 1999.

Below is what riders ask first: where the vinyl goes, how it copes with weather and washing, and what to do when the catalogue does not have the design you had in mind.

Tanks, fairings and helmets: where the vinyl goes

Adhesive vinyl sticks to smooth, clean surfaces, which on a bike means the tank, the fairing, the mudguard, the swingarm, the panniers, the top box, the rims and the helmet shell. Wash the area with soapy water and dry it properly first: vinyl will not grip through grease or road film.

Fitting needs nothing more than a rigid card and a clean surface, so there is nothing else to buy. Position the decal, tack it down in the middle, then work outwards so the air escapes at the edges. On curved panels work in short sections rather than all in one go, and give the outline a firm final pass.

Rain, sun and the jet wash

These are outdoor stickers, not paper prints. The vinyl is cut in Huesca, Spain, and it is made to live on the outside of a vehicle: it resists water, it resists UV and it takes pressure washing, as long as you keep the lance at a sensible distance and do not aim straight at the edge. A bike that commutes all winter and never sees a garage is exactly what it is for.

Taking a decal off is just as straightforward. Warm it gently with a hair dryer, lift a corner and pull it back slowly on itself. Over paint in good condition it comes away clean, which suits race numbers you change every season, or a bike you plan to sell on.
