Our decorative vinyls are made from vinyl, a self-adhesive film of high strength designed for decoration. It can be applied to walls, vehicles, wood and practically any smooth surface, both indoors and outdoors.
Indoors, their lifespan is virtually unlimited. Outdoors, the material comes with a 5-year warranty (3-4 years for metallic finishes), withstanding weather conditions perfectly.
At MuralDecal we use exclusively first-quality vinyls. The cheaper vinyls on the market barely last a year. Ours guarantee excellent and lasting results, even outdoors.
No. We only send the decorative vinyl. Any accessories (such as hooks, hangers or furniture) that may appear in sample photos are just decoration suggestions.
Yes, our decorative vinyls are very versatile and adhere perfectly to any smooth surface, including car bodywork or windows.
No. The material we use is not suitable for installation on fabric or similar porous surfaces.
Yes they can be installed, but you should note that prolonged high temperatures weaken the adhesive strength. If it's a radiator in regular use, the vinyl will deteriorate faster than if installed on a standard wall.
No, the colours we use are fully opaque. If you're looking for a finish that lets light through while maintaining privacy, we recommend our translucent vinyl with a frosted effect.
No. At MuralDecal we manufacture two types of decorative vinyls:
Printed vinyls come with an application tape (transfer paper) that keeps all pieces in their exact position and makes installation on the wall much easier.
The finish options available for our decorative vinyls are gloss or matte.
You can apply decorative vinyls to almost any smooth, clean and dry surface: walls, windows, furniture, doors, vehicles, shop windows, etc.
Yes! The vast majority of our products are very easy to install for anyone, even without previous experience. You'll also find detailed instructions and video guides on our website for both small stickers and large murals.
We don't recommend it. Texture is a rough and irregular surface, and adhesive vinyls need smooth surfaces to adhere properly and last. On textured walls, the vinyl won't adhere correctly to the raised areas, the aesthetic result isn't satisfactory and durability is significantly reduced.
To remove them without damaging the wall, gently warm the vinyl with a hairdryer on medium heat and pull slowly from a corner, keeping a low angle to the wall. If any adhesive residue remains, it can be removed with a cloth dampened in isopropyl alcohol. On freshly painted walls (less than 3-4 weeks), there's a risk that some paint may come off.
Decorative vinyls can be cleaned without any problem using a soft cloth dampened with water and neutral soap.
